How to fix kazam audio on ubuntu 2020 (All Linux)
5 min readNov 4, 2020
Okay, actually I have problems when after updating kali linux. My screen recorder application namely Kazam can’t record sound from the screen or microphone either. I was looking for a solution to this problem for hours and hours then finally I received a notification from Pak Onno’s YouTube video about this fix. when I tried it turned out to be successful and therefore I want to share the solution of this problem with all of you. because I’m also having a hard time finding this solution. Thank you for reading.
Step by step:
- Open your terminal and type this command
sudo mousepad /usr/lib/python3/dist-packages/kazam/pulseaudio/pulseaudio.py
- and then replace all with this
